Just a few moments from the time of writing, a new scan of this week’s issue of Famitsu has spread online, revealing more details about the mysterious Pokemon that appeared during the Glimwood Tangle live stream.
As many people predicted, the Pokemon that many people said looked similar to a character from My Little Pony is Galarian Ponyta. It is a regional variant of the classic Fire Horse Pokemon. With less than 3 months before the release of our most-awaited Pokemon game for Nintendo Switch – Pokemon Sword and Shield, most of us can definitely not wait to learn more information about this upcoming game. Luckily, we’ve been able to compile some more information that was leaked throughout various sources (with most of them revealed during the Pokemon World Championships 2019)
First, the official website of Pokemon Sword and Shield confirmed that there will only be two types of battle rules; namely Single Battles and Double Battles. This means that Triple and Rotational Battles may not be available for this upcoming game.
Also, the Pokemon website also introduced a new game mechanic called “Max Raid Battles”, wherein players can battle and catch a wild Dynamaxed Pokemon. Pokemons that are caught from these battles have a better chance of having a Hidden Ability. Aside from that, there’s a chance of catching a Pokemon that has an ability to Gigantamax!
You may be asking, what’s the difference between a Dynamaxed and Gigantamaxed Pokemon? These two new game mechanics are pretty similar to each other, just with some minor differences.
