Ever since Pokemon Sword and Shield became available for preloading, there’s been a continuous stream of leaks about the game. A few days ago, many types of new Pokemons, including starter evolutions, have surfaced online.
According to @CentroLeaks on twitter, the number of Pokemons on the Galarian Pokedex have increased from 400 to 632 after beating the game. This may mean that specific areas of the game will only be unlocked after finishing the main story. The only question right now is how many of these are the new Pokemons. The only sure thing is there are at least 500 Pokemons carried over from previous games.
We are not exactly sure where these people are getting these information. However, according to most people, some of these leakers were already able to play the game. Some of those leakers seem to also have a copy of the official guide book for Pokemon Sword and Shield. It will not be surprising if we’ll see some leaked game play footage in the coming days. Since these information did not come from official sources, we still have to take these with a grain of salt. This applies to all the leaks that have surfaced online in the past few days.
Pokémon Sword and Shield will be released exclusively for Nintendo Switch on November 15. These games come with a new set of Pokémon. The game’s size will be around 9.5 GB according to Nintendo’s website, so make sure to clear some space on your Switch if you’re going digital. If you prefer having a physical copy though, you can purchase them below:
